TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE SIPB LEARNING ANDROID APP
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to the SIPB LEARNING App. This document outlines the Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") that govern your use of the SIPB LEARNING Android Application (the "App"). The App is developed by SIPB EduTech and powered by the SPECTRAL-LINE INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS-BAGDAH (hereinafter referred to as "SIPB," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App. In this case, you need to send an email to sipblearning@gmail.com , and your data from the App database will be deleted within seven (7) days.
2. User Eligibility and Access
- A. The SIPB LEARNING App is intended for the exclusive use of individuals who have successfully completed the official admission and registration process with SIPB through the official website https://sipb.in/.
- B. Your access to the App is conditional upon your active student status and is granted by the SIPB administration. Any attempt by an unauthorized individual to access or use the App is strictly prohibited.
- C. You must use the Gmail address provided to the SIPB administration during the registration process for app access. Your app account is linked to this specific Gmail address.
- D. Certain fee-related features may be available within the App, including the display of fee records, invoices, installment information, due amounts, and verification of authorized offline fee payments through institute-issued QR codes or similar mechanisms. Such features are provided solely for academic and administrative purposes and may only be used by the registered student associated with the account.
3. App Usage and Conduct
- A. Prohibition of Unauthorized Use: You are strictly prohibited from sharing your login credentials or providing unauthorized access to any third party. Your account is for your personal use only.
- B. Acceptable Use: You may use the App solely for academic purposes, including accessing educational content, completing assignments, checking attendance, and viewing your class schedule and results.

C. Prohibited Conduct: You shall not engage in any of the following activities:
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App's code.
- Using any automated means (e.g., bots, scripts) to access, interact with, or scrape data from the App.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its databases.
- Institute-issued QR codes, verification tokens, and related authorization mechanisms remain the property of SIPB. Students must not photograph, record, distribute, publish, share, reproduce, store, or attempt to reuse such authorization credentials except as expressly permitted by SIPB.
- Introducing any malicious code, viruses, or other harmful materials.
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of the App or its network.
- Using, sharing, reproducing, distributing, or attempting to reuse institute-issued QR codes, verification tokens, or payment authorization credentials without authorization.
- Attempting to submit false, forged, duplicated, manipulated, or unauthorized payment verification requests.
- Attempting to bypass, disable, interfere with, or reverse-engineer any fee verification, payment record, authentication, or security mechanism implemented within the App or on SIPB servers.
- Using the App or any associated feature to obtain fraudulent fee records, invoices, payment confirmations, attendance records, academic records, or other institutional benefits.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
- A. Content Ownership: All content available within the App, including but not limited to lecture notes, videos, assignments, and logos (collectively, the "Content"), is the sole property of SIPB or its content providers. The Content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

B. Usage Restrictions: The Content is provided to you for your personal, non-commercial, academic use only. You shall not, without the explicit written permission of SIPB:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display the Content.
- Record, screenshot, or in any way capture the Content for unauthorized use or distribution.
- Sell, license, or monetize the Content in any manner.
- Modify or create derivative works from the Content.
5. Data Privacy and Security
Your use of the App is subject to the App Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the Privacy Policy, which outlines our practices regarding data collection, usage, and security.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- A. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, either express or implied. SIPB does not guarantee that the App will be free from errors, uninterrupted, or secure.
- B. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIPB shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of data or loss of profit.
7. Termination
SIPB reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate any provision of these Terms, misuse any payment verification feature, engage in fraudulent academic or financial activity, attempt unauthorized access, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the institute's administration.
